Lada Vesta received a more powerful engine
Lada Vesta cars began to be equipped with a new 1.8-liter gasoline engine. This was announced on November 6 by the press service of AVTOVAZ. The new generation engine is available on all versions of this model, the company said.
The new engine develops 132 hp, and the torque has increased to 175 Nm.Due to this, the maximum speed of the Vesta with this engine is 192 km/h, acceleration to 100 km/h has been reduced to 10 seconds, and the combined fuel consumption has decreased to 7.4 liters per 100 km. Increasing the torque over the entire RPM range makes the engine more elastic, and trips more comfortable and efficient.

The 1.8 engines of the new generation are installed on LADA Vesta, starting with the "Praktik" and "Drive" trim levels. The initial cost of versions with a six—speed manual transmission will be 1,845,000 rubles, and the surcharge for an automatic transmission (CVT) will be 45,000 rubles, the company said.
In addition to the new engine, individual versions of the Vesta are now equipped with additional comfort and safety systems. So, in the "Cross" versions, cars received a driving mode selection system that changes engine settings, as well as traction and anti-skid systems for the "Ground", "Sand", "Snow" and "Sport" modes. In addition, in the Techno trim levels, the cars received an electronic tire pressure monitoring system, as well as atmospheric illumination of the instrument panel and door upholstery.
The first batches of Vest with the new engine have already been shipped to dealers. AvtoVAZ presented the updated Lada Vesta CNG bi-fuel model on October 30. This model can run on both methane and gasoline.
