In Shchelkovo, near Moscow, three people were injured as a result of an attack by an unknown man with a knife during an anniversary celebration. An eyewitness to the incident told Izvestia about this on October 20.

On October 17, a conflict occurred between the guests and an unknown person in the Bogorodsky microdistrict. After that, the attacker stabbed three people.

One of the victims is in intensive care — the man received a deep facial wound. He underwent surgery. Two other wounded received stitches and were released home.

The woman told Izvestia that law enforcement officials were allegedly biased against the situation, but they did not take evidence from the victim.

According to her, the assaulted man lied to investigators, telling a completely different version of what happened. Now the woman fears for the life and health of her minor daughter.

There were no comments from law enforcement officers at the time of publication. All the circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

A source from Izvestia reported on October 14 that in Balashikha, Moscow region, 40-year-old Sergei R. attacked paramedics and police officers with a knife. It was reported that doctors arrived to hospitalize the man in a psychiatric ward, but he actively resisted. Police officers came to the aid of the doctors, they tried to convince Sergei R. to drop his weapon, but in response he attacked them as well.
