Fursin announced the start of registration for the "Night of Arts"

Registration for the "Night of the Arts" in Moscow started on October 21 at 12:00. The events will take place on November 3 and 4 and will cover more than 120 venues in the capital. This was announced by the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the Department of Culture Alexei Fursin.

The "Night of the Arts" is one of the main cultural events of this autumn. Guests will enjoy a total of about 500 hours of art and culture, including completely new formats such as an audio performance guide, immersive art, opera without words and an organ concert accompanied by a DJ set. We have prepared over 400 events, some of them will be fully designed for children and youth audiences. To the annual slogan of the campaign — "Art unites", this year another main theme will be added — "Another look", which will invite the guests of the "Night of Arts" to look at familiar formats in a completely different way. New locations will be added to the permanent locations of the campaign, where key events will take place — the Obraztsov State Academic Central Puppet Theater, the Digital Business Space, the TONE CENTER, and Vorobyovy Hall.

One of the central events of the campaign will be a special program dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Sergei Obraztsov's birth and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Central Puppet Theater named after him. The "Magic Lamp of Aladdin" will be shown to young viewers, the play "An Extraordinary Concert" will be shown for adults, as well as theater tours.

A series of folk concerts will be held in the Digital Business Space on Pokrovka: the band KASHA, the musical group Zventa Svetalana and Leonid Ovrutsky will perform for the guests. The artists will offer the guests a new look at the sound of ethnic music, adding a few modern notes to traditional folklore motifs.

And Vorobyovy Hall will host a jazz program dedicated to Oleg Lundstrem's 110th birthday. Guests will enjoy performances by pianist Daniil Kramer with an author's program, a concert by actress and singer Aglaya Shilovskaya, as well as the Oleg Lundstrom State Chamber Orchestra of Jazz Music.

Also at the "Night of the Arts", an actor in the image of the great Russian architect Fyodor Shekhtel will guide guests through the mansion of P.P. Smirnov, an outstanding monument of Moscow architecture of the early twentieth century and one of his most famous creations, as part of an immersive performance, the heroes of which will be historical figures, muses and images from the fantasies of the great architect.
