On October 19, American leader Donald Trump said that the United States could reconsider relations with Europe if European countries could not solve the migration problem in the near future.

"If they are (European countries. — Ed.) will not find their way soon, but they must find their way, we will have no choice but to leave. We'll have no choice but to leave. We will not allow this to happen here," the head of the White House said at a rally of his supporters in Kansas, quoted by RIA Novosti.

The American leader noted that the United States continues to interact with European states, despite their "shortcomings and weaknesses." At the same time, he linked Europe's current problems with migration and said that such a development was predictable.

Trump expressed the hope that the current situation would be temporary. According to him, insufficient border control allows people to arrive in Europe who do not appreciate art, architecture and residents of European countries.

The Bild newspaper reported on September 27 that the European Union (EU) is planning to develop a unified mechanism to combat the influx of migrants against the background of the migration crisis in Ceuta. It was clarified that the plan was developed by the 18 Ministers of Internal Affairs and Migration of the EU countries and will include three points. The first paragraph contains the introduction of uniform rules, according to which "exceptional situations on the external borders of the EU must be clearly defined and established."
