The Bitget cryptocurrency exchange will stop serving users from Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. This is evidenced by the updated terms of use of the platform, published on October 16 on its official website.

According to the document, all three states are included in the list of countries subject to restrictions on the provision of exchange services. The list of prohibited jurisdictions also includes the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Austria, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and a number of other countries and territories.

The terms of use specify that Bitget reserves the right to further supplement the list of states and territories subject to restrictions. At the same time, the information provided does not specify the terms of termination of service for users from Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

The Bitget cryptocurrency exchange was attacked on September 24, as a result of which the attackers gained access to some of the funds on the platform's hot wallets. It was noted that the Bitget security team has activated emergency response protocols.
