Dmitriev linked the beginning of the Ukrainian conflict with Biden's corruption
The conflict in Ukraine began because of the corruption of the previous US President Joe Biden. This opinion was expressed on October 16 by Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).
"I mentioned this earlier: the Ukrainian conflict arose because of Biden's corruption," he wrote on his page on the social network X.
This is how Dmitriev commented on a video posted by a user in which US President Donald Trump talks about the corruption of the Biden administration and that it has done many bad things towards Ukraine.
In an interview with Newsmax on October 15, Trump accused the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, of selling missiles that Ukraine received during Joe Biden's presidency.
Trump also stated in this interview that Zelensky does not seek to resolve the conflict. The US president stressed that it was more difficult for him to deal with Zelensky than with Russian President Vladimir Putin. At the same time, Trump noted that he was not a fan of the head of the Kiev regime.
