Employees of the Surgut industrial enterprise in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug), which was attacked by a Ukrainian drone, were not injured. This was announced on October 16 by the head of the region Ruslan Kukharuk.

"According to the operational services, the company's employees were not injured as a result of the drone attack. Emergency services continue to work at the site," he said in a message on the Telegram channel.

At the moment, the fire is being localized, and specialists are ensuring the safety of the territory. Kuharuk said he was personally monitoring the situation and asked not to spread unverified information.

Earlier in the day, Kukharuk reported on the same day that an industrial facility had caught fire during a drone attack. The head of the region added that experts at the scene are assessing the damage to the facility. The plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Ural Federal District, Artyom Zhoga, clarified that the industrial facility in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, which was damaged as a result of falling debris from a Ukrainian UAV, is civilian. He noted that the regional authorities are monitoring the situation.
