The head of the ROSSETI Group spoke about the preparations for the heating season

Andrey Ryumin, Head of the ROSSETI Group, made a presentation at the All-Russian Meeting on preparations for the 2026/2027 heating season as part of the Russian Energy Week. This is reported by the company's press service.

"We are at the final stage of the work necessary for the passage of the heating season. The repair campaign is being implemented in difficult conditions due to the need to provide additional security measures for power facilities and employees. Nevertheless, everything necessary will be completed in accordance with the agreed schedules," Ryumin stressed.

According to him, ROSSETI increased the financing of the repair program to more than 135 billion rubles in 2026. Work is being carried out on substations and power transmission lines, clearings are being cleared, and other measures are being taken to ensure reliable power supply to consumers during maximum loads.

In case of emergency situations, more than 10,5 thousand power engineering teams have been formed. 8 thousand backup power sources with a total capacity of over 670 MW have been ready. In addition, the fleet of 35-110 kV modular mobile substations is expanding, which make it possible to eliminate the consequences of technological disruptions for consumers faster.

The necessary emergency supplies of equipment and materials have been formed throughout the country in accordance with the regulations. In addition, reinforced reserves are being created in the border regions and reunified subjects of the Russian Federation.

The meeting also discussed the work of the Institute of Backbone Territorial Network Organizations (STSO). According to the decisions of the regional headquarters, they can be involved in the elimination of the consequences of accidents in the networks of related organizations and on ownerless power facilities. Ryumin noted that the companies of the ROSSETI Group are ready to fulfill this task in all 69 regions where they have received the STSO status.

The meeting was led by Sergey Tsivilev, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation. The event was also attended by Irina Guseva, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Regional Policy and Local Self-Government, and Nikolai Shulginov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Energy.
