In the Novosibirsk region, a 50-year-old employee of a meat processing plant was attacked by an angry bull. A source told Izvestia about this on October 15.

The incident occurred in the Cherepanovsky district. The man was driving cattle onto the scales when one of the animals suddenly became aggressive. The bull hit the employee in the chest with his head, causing him to fall to the ground, and continued to beat the victim.

To escape, the man had to throw a handful of earth into the animal's eyes, after which he was able to get out of the pen on his own. The victim was hospitalized with multiple rib fractures and lung contusions.

On October 10, the bodies of two men with signs of a bear attack were found in the forests of the Irkutsk region. It was noted that the body of a 56-year-old man was found near the winter quarters located in the area of the Tarea River of the Bratsk reservoir. Also, in a forest area 15 km from the village of Kaimonovo, remains were found that belonged to a 47-year-old resident of the village of Rechushka.
