Geely has announced the launch of the Chinese bestseller EX2 in the Russian market

Geely will soon officially introduce the new EX2 model to the Russian market, which will become the most affordable electric car brand in the country. This is stated in the company's message, which was received by Izvestia on October 15. EX2 prices and equipment options have not yet been specified.

The Geely EX2 compact electric hatchback is equipped with a 116 hp powerplant and a torque of 150 Nm. The drive is carried out on the rear wheels. The traction battery provides a range of up to 395 km in accordance with the new European Passenger Car Driving Test Cycle (NEDC). The length of the model is 4135 mm, and the wheelbase is 2650 mm.

In China, the Geely EX2 has been on sale since 2024 and costs from 69.8 thousand yuan (almost 900 thousand rubles in translation). Currently, the car is officially presented in more than 30 countries around the world. The total sales volume exceeded 800 thousand units, which ensured Geely EX2 leadership among all electric vehicles and A- and B-class hybrids worldwide by the end of 2025, brand representatives said.

The model also received a number of international awards and was included in the list of models competing for the highest award of the World Car of the Year 2027 award, the company noted.

Currently, Geely's line of electric vehicles and hybrids in Russia is represented by the EX5 electric crossover, as well as the EX5 hybrid crossover in two versions — parallel-serial EM-i and serial EM-R.
