The fare for the MDA has been indexed

Travel along the Moscow High-Speed Diameter (MSD) during critical load hours on weekdays has been indexed from October 16 by six rubles, up to 25 rubles per section. This was previously reported in the channel of the Moscow Department of Transport in Maks.

The agency clarified that the hours from 07:00 to 11:00 Moscow time and from 16:00 to 20:00 Moscow time remain paid. The rest of the time, that is, 70% of the day on weekdays, as well as on weekends and holidays, travel along the MDA is still free. The transit fare has not changed and amounts to 950 rubles.

The department explained that the tariff is used as a traffic control tool. It helps to keep the diameter load at six points and prevent an increase in traffic intensity. According to the agency, after the MSD was connected to the Yuzhno-Lytkarinskaya highway this year, the load on the highway increased. In September, traffic on it increased by 20 thousand cars per day, or by 5% compared to last year.

As the department recalled, travel along a section of the highway is considered to be paid only if the car entered and left it during the paid time. For example, the trip will be free if the car pulled into the site at 06:55 and left at 07:30 or pulled in at 10:55 and left at 11:30.

For vehicles of operational services and mail, municipal equipment, urban transport, school buses, as well as taxis licensed in Moscow and the Moscow region, travel along the MSD is always free, the department noted. They also said that the cost of all trips per day is summed up, and a single payment is made within five days.
