Lyubov Uspenskaya appreciated Kiliana's cover of her track in the "Battle of Generations" on MUZ-TV

Singer Lyubov Uspenskaya will meet with young artist Kiliana (real name — Liana Gevorgyan) on October 17 in a musical duel in the next edition of the show "Battle of Generations: A new challenge" on MUZ-TV.

"Of course, I am familiar with Lyubov's work. She's my big idol. Her songs were always played at our house.: This is my mom's and my dad's favorite singer," Kiliana said.

Live performances of the artists will be evaluated by a star—studded jury from different generations: Alexander Buinov, Alexander Shoua, Denis Klyaver — from the masters; Eva Vlasova, Dead Blonde, Anya Pokrov - from the young conquerors of the charts. It depends on them who will become the winner and the winner of the memorable award of the show. And the permanent host of the project, the charismatic Konstantin Anisimov, will be the musical referee on stage.

In the most tender round of "Love Song", Kiliana performed her track "Broken Card", the lyrical heroine of which realizes that the romance has come to an end, and all the beautiful promises and "trump cards" of the partner turned out to be only "air". Uspenskaya performed her time-tested hit "To the only gentle one" about strong love, longing for a loved one and hope for an early meeting.

"It's impossible to judge! It's an amazing, great song! Lyuba is one of those artists who proves that no matter who wrote the song, it feels like it was lived and written by you! And it was thanks to your performance that this song got into the heart of every person who heard it," Denis Klyaver shared.

In the experimental "Opponent's Cover" round, Uspenskaya performed a cover of Kiliana's track "Zhiganskaya" in her recognizable manner. Kiliana, in turn, presented her rival's lyrical composition "Sky" in her own interpretation. The new arrangement and accompaniment of the Armenian instrument duduka gave the song a more dramatic sound and filled it with new meanings. The soulful presentation and original interpretation of the song amazed Ouspenskaya herself.

"Space! Just space! This song is very difficult, but she sang it and felt it so much — very soulfully, to the point of goosebumps! Thank you!" said the singer.
