Approximately one fifth of all bookings in Russia at the end of September and October accounted for autumn destinations. The Kaliningrad region, the Moscow region and the middle belt, Karachay-Cherkessia, Karelia, the Golden Ring and the Altai Mountains became the most in demand. "The traditional golden autumn destinations accounted for about 20% of the total bookings for the end of September and October — the period of picturesque natural landscapes, when the change of seasons is most clearly visible. The top popular destinations for atmospheric travel include the Kaliningrad Region, the Moscow region and the Middle belt, Karachay-Cherkessia, Karelia, the Golden Ring, and Gorny Altai. A weekend (three nights) in a hotel with breakfast will cost an average of 17 thousand rubles for two people," the message says.

Golden autumn destinations, according to the tour operator, offer different travel formats. So, in the Moscow region, you can stay in a sanatorium, which is located on the territory of the estate, and combine walks through historical sites with full-fledged treatment. In turn, outdoor enthusiasts can choose the mountains of Karachay—Cherkessia and Altai Mountains. In Altai, in autumn, as noted, due to the slowing of the current, the confluence of the Chuya and Katun rivers is clearly visible, and Blue lakes form in the Katun riverbed.

In addition, tourists in the Kaliningrad region are attracted by the combination of European castle architecture with autumn landscapes and comfortable weather for promenades. In Karelia, there is accommodation at recreation centers with bath tubs, forest walks and a "quiet hunt" for mushrooms. According to the tour operator, an atmosphere of privacy and many photogenic panoramic locations await in small towns along the Golden Ring route.
