Sobyanin announced the completion of the renovation program in 12 districts of Moscow

The renovation program has been fully completed in 12 districts of Moscow, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said in the "Maks" messenger.

In some districts, the program has been completed by 40-50%. One of them is the Ryazan region. Currently, 1,149 residents of seven houses subject to resettlement are moving to a new residential complex on Ryazansky Prospekt.

"" The new building is located about 10-15 minutes on foot from the metro stations "Stakhanovskaya" and "Okskaya" of the Nekrasovskaya line, Plushevo MCD-3 and Chukhlinka MCD-4 stations. ""Plushevo" and "Raketa" squares and the Kuskovsky Forest Park are located nearby, as well as recreation areas.

According to the mayor, a total of about 1 million residents of Moscow will receive new apartments as part of the renovation program. In the first seven months of 2026, 734 thousand square meters of housing intended for program participants were commissioned in the city. This figure has become a record for nine years of its implementation.

From January to July, more than 140 houses were fully resettled in the city, and resettlement began for 32,000 people, which is 82% more than the result for the same period last year. In total, the program includes 5,176 houses with about 350,000 apartments with a total area of 16.4 million square meters. m. To date, the resettlement process has affected about 290,000 Muscovites. It is expected that by the end of 2026, the figure will exceed 300 thousand.
